End of Support Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2

May 25, 2019 | Blog

Does your company use Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2 or 7 Service Pack 1?

You still have little time to leave these versions and move on to a newer version of Windows! The lifecycle of support for Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 and Windows 7 Service Pack 1 software is about to end on January 14, 2020.

This means that services relating to:

  • Free local security updates
  • Security updates
  • Free support options
  • Online update of technical content

will no longer be available.

The risk you face

Due to the lack of security updates, using an unseeded operating system will expose you to viruses, malware and spyware.

What’s the solution?

All customers using Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2 will have to migrate to new versions of Windows (we recommend the latest version of Windows Server 2019).

This way, you can continue to enjoy all security updates at no extra cost.

Is your server obsolete? Take this opportunity to breathe new life into your outdated servers, choose a latest generation server.
